Case Summary
Ms E R Twomey, a claimant with ADHD who worked as a contractor for HSBC UK Bank plc, claimed she was constructively unfairly dismissed and subjected to disability discrimination. The tribunal heard evidence over ten days in November and December 2025 and found that all of the claimant's claims failed and were dismissed. The tribunal concluded that the claimant had not proven unfair dismissal or any acts of discrimination, and that the respondent had made reasonable adjustments and had not subjected her to unfavourable treatment arising from her disability.
Why this outcome?
Claim not well-foundedThe tribunal found no evidence to support the claimant's allegations of constructive unfair dismissal or disability discrimination. The claimant failed to establish that any unfavourable treatment was related to her disability of ADHD, and the tribunal found that the respondent had made reasonable adjustments, conducted appropriate procedures, and that the claimant's allegations against her line manager and the respondent's processes were not substantiated by the contemporaneous communications and evidence presented.
