The claimant withdrew indirect race and sex discrimination claims by email on 4 July 2025. The tribunal found the withdrawal was unambiguous and the claims came to an end under Rule 51. However, the tribunal exercised its discretion under Rule 52 not to issue a judgment dismissing the claims, finding it was not in the interests of justice to do so.

The claimant withdrew her complaint of unfair dismissal by email on 18 March 2026. The tribunal dismissed the unfair dismissal claim on withdrawal. The tribunal also found it lacked jurisdiction to hear the claimant's discrimination complaints under the Equality Act 2010 and dismissed those claims accordingly.

EBITS LLP: 3303447/2024

The tribunal considered strike-out applications at a preliminary hearing on 2 April 2026. The claimant's claim for paternity leave pay and four days' sick pay was dismissed as having no reasonable prospect of success or upon withdrawal. However, the tribunal rejected the respondent's application to strike out the unfair dismissal claims, finding them to have some reasonable prospect of success.

Solicitors Regulation Authority and Others: 2410964/2023 and Others: 2410964/2023

The claimant, a solicitor whose practising certificate was revoked, brought multiple claims against the Solicitors Regulation Authority and others alleging race and sex discrimination, harassment and victimisation in relation to two SRA investigations and the publication of articles by Mr Rose. The tribunal struck out all claims as having no reasonable prospect of success, dismissed some claims upon withdrawal, and struck out claims against Mr Rose for lacking legal basis under the Equality Act.

M Chapman and Others: 2401498/2024

The claimant claimed unfair dismissal, whistleblowing detriment, and trade union detriment against NICE and two individuals. The tribunal found that while some complaints (protected disclosure and trade union detriment relating to a Band 7 role interview) were withdrawn, the complaint of ordinary unfair dismissal was well founded. The tribunal dismissed complaints of whistleblowing detriment under s.47B ERA and trade union detriment under s.146(1)(b) TULRCA as not well founded. A remedy hearing was scheduled for 9 July 2026.

Feller UK Ltd: 6030272/2025

The claimant alleged unlawful deductions from wages, claiming her employer made deductions without written consent or a court order (attachment of earnings). The claimant withdrew her claim by email at 8:30am on the morning of the hearing without attending. The tribunal dismissed the claim upon withdrawal and ordered the claimant to pay the respondent £350 in costs due to her unreasonable last-minute withdrawal after being given multiple opportunities to engage with the proceedings.

The East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust: 3303588/2019

The claimant brought claims of unlawful deduction of wages against The East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. The claimant appeared in person while the respondent was represented by counsel. The claims were dismissed upon withdrawal.
