The claimant suffered an unlawful deduction of wages and his complaint brought under section 13 of the Employment Rights Act 1996 as amended is well- founded. The respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant the total sum of £1006 (one thousand and six pounds) less lawful deductions of tax and national insurance consisting of unlawful deduction of wages for 2 months in the sum of £506 gross and a retained £500 deposit. 2.
